We are the Barrett family, second generation missionaries to Brazil. I (David) was born and spent most of my life in Brazil and have been actively serving the Lord in the ministry there for almost 20 years. My wife Aline is Brazilian, and we have two wonderful boys, Benjamin (10) and Gabriel (2). Our home church is the Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle in Knoxville, TN.

While I was serving the Lord in Brazil, I was teaching English as a second language to support my family, but God has directed us to go back to work with missions and church planting in Brazil, with undivided attention! We can hardly wait to get back and continue serving the Lord in such a needy country! Since my wife is Brazilian and I have spent most of my life in Brazil, we know the Brazilian culture and language well, and have a great love for Brazil and its people.
